This was a spontaneous purchase—I was hungry, and the colorway reminded me of chocolate-covered strawberries. My brain made the connection, and into the cart it went! I used this yarn to knit the Maggie Cardigan by PetiteKnit (available on Ravelry), holding two strands together on 3.5mm needles. While two strands of this yarn could definitely handle a larger needle, I wanted a denser fabric to help the garment hold its shape, plus I met gauge at 3.5mm and I did not have mental capacity to do my own math. It took about 260g for the cardigan, and I used an additional 40g to make the Penny Gloves by the same designer. The finished result is beautiful! The yarn has a thick-and-thin texture, which adds interesting depth to stockinette. Overall, I’m very pleased. Attaching a few pictures if you'd like to see the final look!
