All elastane in my store is produced by Japanese manufacturers and sourced from the Italian stock market. That’s why you may notice different colors of plastic cones in the photos or in the cones you receive with your order. The thread on different color cones might look slightly different, but the composition and quality of this elastic yarn are absolutely the same. The knitting or sewing result using these threads will be identical — there is no difference in composition, performance, or weight of the threads.

Add strength, elasticity, and softness to your projects with spandex elastane thread, a high-quality durable, elastic, and seamless thread designed for versatile textile and knitting applications. It is not typically intended for standalone knitting but can be excellent as a companion yarn.

Material: 93% Nylon, 7% Polyurethane
Yarn Count: 80D (Super Fine and lightweight) means 9,000 meters of the yarn weighs 80 grams.
Net Weight: APPROXIMATELY 200 grams per cone - 22,000+ meters (24,000+) yards

Best Use for Knitting:
