✨This stunning hand-knitted gradient palantine is a wearable work of art—crafted with care from a blend of natural Dundaga ROMANOV SHEEP Wool and 100% alpaca yarn. The combination of rustic, lanolin-rich Dundaga wool with the raw beauty of traditional Baltic wool and fluffy alpaca creates a luxurious texture that’s both cozy and breathable. The fibers balance each other perfectly: Dundaga provides body, color richness, and structure, while alpaca brings a soft halo and featherlight feel.

This is Palantine No. 3 from my watercolor-inspired color palette collection, created to evoke the feeling of timeless masterpieces by world-renowned artists (please see my other listings for the “VAN GOGH” and “CLAUDE MONET” palantines). The soft, earthy shades of beige and taupe brown in this piece reminded me of the natural, muted tones often seen in the works of Francisco Goya — and that's how this palantine got its name: “GOYA.”

Dundaga Merino Wool is spun and dyed at Paces Vilnas Fabrika in Latvia, using traditional methods and minimal processing.
The wool retains up to 70% of its natural lanolin, giving it insulating, moisture-wicking, and weather-resistant qualities.
Each colorway is hand-dyed in small batches, producing unique, evolving gradients with rustic charm and vibrant personality.
Alpaca yarn adds warmth and lightness, creating a beautifully soft finish with a gentle drape.
